What are AI characters?
AI characters are virtual companions created using artificial intelligence. Each can have their own personality, communication style, interests, and behavior defined during creation. You can chat with them as if they were real people — make friends, argue, learn, or just have fun. Characters can be anything: from a virtual friend or mentor to a book hero, actor, or completely fictional persona.
What is AIcharacters.io?
AIcharacters.io is a platform for creating and interacting with AI characters. Here you can: create and customize your own chat-bot (name, communication style, behavioral traits), make it public or private, chat with it and share it with others. The interface is as simple as possible — no technical skills or programming required.
Do I need technical skills to create a character?
No. All you need to do is set the parameters: name, personality, communication style, and interests. The platform will automatically create a working character.
Who can see my character?
You decide the privacy level yourself: private — only for you, shareable by link — only for selected users, public — open to everyone.
What are NSFW (uncensored) characters?
NSFW characters are chat-bots with adult-only (18+) content. They may include explicit themes, romance, or erotica — depending on how you configure them.
To view, create, or interact with such characters:
- Your profile must indicate that you are 18 years or older.
- In your profile settings, you must explicitly enable the option “Show NSFW content (uncensored)”.
If age is not confirmed or the option is disabled — NSFW characters will be hidden. This is done to comply with laws and protect users.
How do I confirm that I am 18+?
During registration or in your personal account (section “Profile Settings”), enter your date of birth. If you are 18 or older, the platform will automatically unlock access to NSFW content once you enable the corresponding option.
We do not require document uploads — simply provide your age honestly. However, remember: providing false information violates the platform rules.
Can I create NSFW characters?
Yes, if your account meets the requirements (18+ and NSFW option enabled). When creating a character, simply check the “NSFW (uncensored)” box.
Such characters do not appear in the general catalog and are only accessible via direct link or if the user specifically searches for them and has the required settings.
Can I edit a character after creation?
Yes. At any time, you can change the style, interests, personality, reactions, and even the communication type (e.g., friendly, neutral, professional).
How is my data protected?
All data is stored in encrypted form. The platform does not share your conversations or settings with third parties. Privacy is fully under your control.
Will there be paid access?
Core features of the platform are free. In the future, additional paid options will appear (e.g., more character slots, advanced settings, analytics), but the main functionality will remain free. Can I use AIcharacters.io on my phone? Yes. The platform works directly in the browser, is adapted for mobile devices, and requires no installation.
